I have a NLT Bible on my shelf that will last for an eternity. I never use it. I have six Scofield Reference KJV Bibles. Four have had to be rebound. Because I use them constantly.
The only reason Aleph and B survived is that they weren't used. For the same reason I don't use the NLT. They weren't deemed reliable in their own generation.
