The commentators I cared about have mostly moved.
The bots I follow for timeline cleansing are moving.
Would like to see a few more journalists move over, but the @BylineTimes stable is there.
Plenty of Physics/science people there.
Will workplace/institutional accounts move?

one time in college a professor spent 90 minutes talking about an example scenario that involved beef and i thought nothing of it until several weeks later when i found out that my classmate had made a minute long compilation of all 125 times he said "beef" in one lecture

Over 1 million people have joined Mastodon since October 27. Between that and those who returned to their old accounts, the number of active users has risen to over 1.6 million today, which, for context, is over 3 times what it was just about two weeks ago!

Ok world. I need to scream. I know we now have a third mickey-taking useless Prime Minister in as many months.
But nothing compares with the pain of working with #python3 for a decade, then having to bring a piece of Numerical Recipes #Fortran77 back to life.
