So proud to have my first paper out with @LMQueste and Neil Rosser. We measured the flight of >350 butterflies, and show that comimetic neotropical butterflies converge in behaviour as well as colour pattern! pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pnas.23…

I'm getting more and more Musk-related drivel popping up here, so I'm to run away from twitter - you can find me at bsky.app/profile/eddvolution…

"Sharing flight behaviour across multiple species seems to reinforce this ‘don’t eat me’ message.” 🦋 Fascinating research from @biologyatyork offers new insights into the self-preserving techniques used by inedible butterflies: bit.ly/3wvpiit #YorkResearch

An update to our manuscript on moth biomass (led by @rskinsella7) went live on @biorxivpreprint overnight (not an April Fool, I promise!). Now submitted for peer review but any external feedback on the preprint also gratefully received. doi.org/10.1101/695635
