No matter how good you feel it is impossible to run a PR at every race. But if you don’t ‘go for it’ you will never achieve it. Today I went out hard to get a PB and completely blew up, arriving at the line over 2 mins short of target. Maybe don’t go quite so hard next race.

Thank you to all the volunteers this morning. @parkrunUK is back. There were racers, joggers, walkers, families, dogs and high spirits on the course. I have missed #parkrun although sub-20 felt a bit harder than it did last time I toed the line, no idea why though. 👍

If I was so bold to add to this article, the modern RSM is also able to have the conversations that the CO cannot. Sometimes it was just using different language, others it was the quiet word. And of course telling me things I needed to know. I will be eternally grateful.
Gone are the days when the stereotypical RSM was someone with a large frame, large moustache and spent their time as rear marker on CO’s PT… a large presence seemed to be the most important factor. thearmyleader.co.uk/modern-r… #thearmyleader #leaders #leadership #britisharmy

Really impressed by the work the syndicates were doing this morning, wargaming allowed the @UKACSC students to examine alternative approaches and the effect cyber can have on audiences.
Applied knowledge & understanding is key to @JSCSCShrivenham @DefAcUK programmes & informs critical thinking & decision making. Here members of @UKACSC are cyber ‘war-gaming’ supported by the Cyber School, @dstlmod, Joint Cyber Unit (R) & other partners #Innovationineducation
