The bottleneck for iOS dev is truly the CPU now.
It's hard to work on features in parallel and testing if the app is compiled locally.

You also can’t install a specific version of a binary with brew; blew my mind when our CI failed because of a bad 3rd party tooling update
they just added concurrent downloads to this so called widely used software.

One of Triumph’s most productive engineers has TikTok and Cookie Clicker open while coding.
I used to think he was always distracted but every time I approached him, he was waiting on AI, tests, etc. And in the end he gets stuff done.
