The first #geothermal power plant was made in 1911 - Tuscany, Italy. 7 years before, Prince Piero Ginori Conti demonstrated geothermal electric for the first time ever. He did this by lighting 5 light bulbs from steam emerging through vents in the ground with his small generator!
