It is illegal for the LAPD to violate press rights. They did it anyway, so a federal judge issued a restraining order against the LAPD. They violated the order.
When I filed a complaint, the LAPD said violating the restraining order is “non-disciplinary.”
You can put any rules in place you want against the LAPD but if they aren’t enforced, nothing changes.
