I got emotional today, returning to a place where we walked in day after day knowing we were entering a hell we couldn't escape.
Today we were not alone alone.

Hugely relieved bail has been denied. Rav Shafran was in court to support Leifer's release.
2 principals of Satmer girls school offered to house Leifer. (How does this make any sense? )

I was taught about the Jewish law of 'redeeming a captive' during school years, never imagined it would be used to raise funds for my abuser.
A respected Rabbi just launched a campaign for funds to help save Leifer from being sent to a non-Jewish country.
