We’ve seen lots of discussions over the last few days on what to do if you’re having an asthma attack. We are encouraging everyone to read our easy-to-follow emergency advice or visit our website for more information. bit.ly/48dV4xK
ALT Image graphic with the copy:
What to do in an asthma attack
Step 1: Sit up straight and keep calm
Step 2: Take one puff of your reliever inhaler (usually blue) every 30-60 seconds - up to 10 puffs.
Step 3: If you feel worse at any point or you don't feel better after 10 puffs, call 999 for an ambulance,
Step 4: If the ambulance has not arrived after 10 minutes and your symptoms are not improving, repeat step 2.
Step 5: If your symptoms are no better after repeating step 2, and the ambulance has still not arrived, call 999 again.
Important: This asthma attack does not apply to MART inhalers. Speak to your GP or asthma nurse for more information.
It's International Men’s Day 💛
