"Homeless" isn't a state of affairs; It's practically a separate breed of person and you have no chance of "becoming homeless" any more than you would become an NBA player.

Literally had a 96 year old man in the ER a few months ago for suicidal ideation... he and his bedridden 95 year old wife were being evicted and for some reason, he was feeling existential despair.

I didn’t even know there was a Vancouver aquatic center. All of these community centres while they’re good in thought the majority of us don’t even know where they are. Let alone use them. These funds and keeping them running I think could be used for something better.
I’m not against the centers. But I personally don’t know anyone who uses them and most of the time if I do happen to stumble into one for a specific usually with a group of people for something else they’re always empty.
There are better use of funds than using centres that cost a fortune to build renovate keep open and that nobody uses
