I'm honoured to have been appointed Chief Scientific Adviser to @energygovuk.
1/2 Emily Shuckburgh has joined as our new Chief Scientific Adviser.
She joins from @Cambridge_Uni where she is Director of @CambridgeZero, their climate change initiative.
She is also Professor of Environmental Data Science at the Department of Computer Science & Technology.

Yesterday's #MathsSummit was utterly brilliant! Tackling #pandemics, beating #cybercrime,#AI & #quantumcomputers, & of course understanding #climatechange - maths is central to all. It's also beautiful & fun! We must inspire kids & support maths education.
