Before you phone your vet or contact me on the PhoneAvet app examine your goat carefully. Vets will ask the rectal temperature, respiratory rate (watch the chest for 15 seconds then X by 4) and listen on the left hand side of the top abdomen for 2 minutes for rumen movements.
