It was great to be back @MarsdenRoad yesterday with @tombennett71 โrunning the roomโ.
Schools need to be safe, calm and predictable environments where everyone is treated with dignity.
I also managed to catch up with some students & staff who I miss dearly, which was lovely!

Teaching an instructional cue to students targets attention. With no attention, it is impossible to attain learning. The short term goal of the instructional cue is automaticity. The long term benefit is habit formation.
