We found a high prevalence of self reported voice (34%), communication (23%) and swallowing (20%) compromise post covid. Recognition of these needs by NICE and funded SLT provision in long covid clinics is a priority. @RCSLT @RCSLTResearch @camillacdawson

A new UK-wide study reveals a high prevalence of communication and swallowing needs in people with long COVID. The study, which was conducted on behalf of the RCSLT, is the largest prospective, observational study of adults hospitalised by COVID-19. rcslt.org/news/new-study-fin…
