Our crews are back on site and hard at work on the 2026 phase of the St. Laurent Pipeline Replacement Project in Ottawa. Last year, more than 5.5 kilometres of steel pipeline and almost 5 kilometres of polyethylene pipeline was installed and energized. And 118 customers were safely connected to the newly upgraded natural gas distribution network. Once complete, this project will replace 14.4 kilometres of natural gas pipeline, ensuring the continued safe and reliable delivery of natural gas service to approximately 168,000 homes, businesses and institutions in the National Capital Region every day. It also means that our network is ready to meet the needs of a growing region, even during peak demand and extreme weather. Through Safe Community Project Zero, Enbridge Gas is continuing its long-standing commitment to public safety by helping deliver combination smoke and carbon monoxide alarms to households across the province. This year alone, 75 fire departments, including Essa Township, are helping bring this important initiative directly into local communities. Over the past 17 years, more than 115,000 alarms have been distributed, all working toward one shared goal: reducing residential fire and carbon monoxide deaths to zero. As Islam Elsayed, Sr Advisor, Government Affairs, shared, “At Enbridge Gas, we are proud to work alongside first responders and provincial and municipal partners across Ontario in our shared commitment to safety. Together, we are working toward safer homes and stronger communities.” This program continues to raise awareness and provide an added layer of protection where it matters most. #ProjectZero #CommunitySafety #PublicSafety #Ontario #EnbridgeGas

Mississauga continues to grow with purpose, guided by a clear focus on housing, infrastructure, and long-term city building. At the Mississauga Board of Trade’s State of the City, Mayor Carolyn Parrish shared a vision centered on increasing housing supply, advancing major transit projects, and supporting a thriving, connected community. As new homes are built and infrastructure evolves, reliable energy plays a critical role behind the scenes. As noted by Devon Smith, Senior Advisor, Municipal and Stakeholder Affairs at Enbridge Gas, “reliable and affordable energy is foundational to the city’s economic success.” This winter was a clear reminder of that reliability in action. Natural gas infrastructure continued to keep homes warm, hospitals running, businesses operating, and essential services online during periods of extreme cold. Ongoing investments, including the Mississauga Reinforcement Project, are helping ensure the city is ready for what comes next. As growth continues, these investments are supporting expanding communities and helping deliver the energy needed for long term development. We are proud to continue working alongside the City of Mississauga and the Mississauga Board of Trade, building strong partnerships that support vibrant, growing communities. #Mississauga #CommunityBuilding #Infrastructure #Energy #NaturalGas #Ontario #EnbridgeGas

Snow and freezing rain are expected to move across communities in Ontario today and throughout the week, bringing rapidly changing conditions and a reminder of how unpredictable winter weather can be. As temperatures shift and conditions outside become icy and uncertain, the warmth and comfort inside your home matter even more. Natural gas helps deliver reliable heat and affordable comfort through the winter, helping homes stay warm when conditions outside are at their toughest. Winter safety reminders: • Keep gas meters and appliance vents clear of snow and ice. • Use a broom or brush to gently clear snow. Avoid using sharp tools. • Do not pile or plow snow near gas meters or exhaust vents. • Ensure carbon monoxide detectors are working properly. • Keep generators and supplemental heaters outdoors. • Replace or clean furnace filters regularly. • If you notice ice you cannot safely remove, call 1-866-763-5427 for assistance. #WinterWeather #WinterSafety #Ontario #NaturalGas #Reliability

This International Women’s Day, we’re recognizing the women across Enbridge Gas whose work helps keep energy moving and communities connected. At the Kennedy Road yard in Scarborough, pipeline welders Heather Bond and Brittany Johnston are part of the teams working in the field to build and maintain the infrastructure communities rely on every day. Brittany has spent the past five years developing her career as a pipeline welder after first discovering a passion for welding through hands on work alongside her dad and later through manufacturing classes in high school. Heather found her path into the trade later in life, returning to school and completing a co op opportunity that opened the door to welding. She has now spent three years continuing to grow her career alongside her crew. Their work takes skill and focus. It also takes resilience. Day in and day out, they show up ready to do the work and contribute to the teams and projects that move our system forward. Heather and Brittany represent the many women across Enbridge Gas working in the field, in operations, in engineering, and across teams throughout the company. Their contributions help deliver safe, reliable and affordable energy to the communities we serve. #InternationalWomensDay #WomenInEnergy #EnbridgeGas
