It not having an anime aesthetic but being similar to a jrpg, especially old ps1 ones with a world map was the selling point. Idk why people don't get this.
I don't like it either that people are turned off by anime aesthetics, but Expedition 33 got popular because it was a mix.
Yup. This game was heavily inspired by over two decades of JRPG designs, barely did anything revolutionary & it simply got treated as revolutionary cause it didnt have an anime aesthetic

Los desarrolladores ya trabajaron con el dragón en Skylanders y en la trilogía Reignited.
Según el equipo, Spyro ocupa un lugar muy especial en el estudio. Admiran especialmente su historia de superación: un personaje pequeño pero poderoso que se enfrenta a adversidades abrumadoras. “Nos vemos reflejados en ella”, han declarado.
Ya desde el desarrollo de Reignited sentían ganas de llevar al dragón más lejos.
El gran éxito del remake (11 millones de copias vendidas), el apoyo de la comunidad y el resurgimiento del género de plataformas fueron el empujón definitivo que necesitaban para presentar el proyecto a Xbox.
Estoy encantado de que Toys For Bob haya decidido darle a Spyro un juego nuevo.
No son los únicos que se sienten identificados con la historia del dragón morado.
Solo espero que consigan mantener la esencia del Spyro que conocemos y tenga una historia a su altura.
