Without Northern Nigeria addressing the following: Religious extremism Child marriage Almajiranci Terrorism is not going anywhere. Northern Nigeria is the silicon valley of terrorism due to all 3. If we kill a million terrorists, a million more will rise from their midst.

Those who rejoice in illegality often have something questionable about them if you look closely. My unfortunate elder brother from the Southwest, Sayilaw, it is quite unfortunate that you rejoiced when I was kidnapped simply because I made a video responding to your claim on a podcast that Nigeria is better today than it was 10 years ago. In that video, I asked a simple question: if Nigeria is safer and better today, why did you relocate your family abroad instead of leaving them here? Rather than engage with the argument, you chose to celebrate my disappearance. That, unfortunately, says a lot about your character. However, as has always been my principle, I do not engage in personal attacks or drag individuals unless it concerns the betterment of Nigeria. My only concern is building a better Nigeria—a Nigeria where citizens will not feel the need to send their families abroad for safety and opportunities while returning home to defend bad governance. Remember, nothing lasts forever. In my time and in my generation, I still believe Nigeria will be great again. Justice can never be cracked. God bless Nigeria. 🇳🇬

Synergy is key to results. Together we can. One’s weakness is compensated by the strength of the other. Even the outlier dubbed troublemaker may be how disaster is averted. The key to triumph is the shared audacious goal. It requires managing hangers on and praise singers

I am deeply saddened by the tragic death of retired Major-General Rabe Abubakar, in the hands of his terrorist captors in Katsina State. After a distinguished career of service to the nation, General Abubakar deserved a peaceful retirement. His tragic passing underscores the severe and worsening state of insecurity across Nigeria. The continued loss of both serving and retired military officers, as well as other Nigerians to terrorists has become far too frequent and must not be normalised. I urge the relevant authorities to intensify efforts to secure the immediate and safe release of his wife, and others who remain in captivity. My heartfelt condolences go to his family, friends, and associates. - RMK

Who is safe in Nigeria. Only God knows. A retired Major General in the Army and former spoke person of the Army was captured by bandits and died in captivity as announced by Government today. The Government of Katsina State issued a statement and said the General died of natural death following complication of highpertension and diabeties. What an explanations from a government. This reason insults common sense. What is natural in the died. Nigerians are in hell in their own country. Governance is on leave. Politics is the major pre-occupation of Nigerian politicians now. Lives of citizens no more valued. How can we explain the rotteness of gold. If military and our security agencies are being captured by bandits and killed, what is the hope of bloody civilians and hopeless citizens. Yet despite the complete failure of governance most Nigerians politicians and supporters are busy focussing on re- selections of those who put us in this dicecy and precarious situations. People in power have failed us. Nigerians must wake up to save themselves from those who have put us in this quagmire of insecurity and failure of governance. Until we all agree to do what is right, select leaders based on competence and capacity to govern well, refused imposition of leaders on us and then elect or select our leaders based on merit and not on the basis of primordial tribal and religious sentiments and then be ready to hold our rulers/leaders accountable the evil plaguing our beloved country will not abate. How did we arrive here. How did bandits get so daring and sophisticated and even overpowered our security agencies. Something is wrong and too wrong. Do we have responsible government in Nigeria that cares for the citizens. I have my doubt. We have terrible irresponsible people in power who care not about the people. Are the children in Oyo state and other parts of Nigeria not still in captivity. What has changed in government architeture of Nigeria. As one of my learned friends Bamofin Kusimo Esq put it today on social media and I agree:The nation is under siege. You cannot, in all honesty, downplay the fact that the country is experiencing diverse and horrific killings of human beings, regardless of their ethnic background, except you are deliberately living in denial just to push a cheap and unpopular narrative in support of the government. The military, as we speak, appears helpless, clueless, and ineffective in addressing this situation. At this point, it makes no sense for anyone to defend security failures when anybody can become an unplanned victim of these criminals. For once, we should remove the lens of tribalism and ethnicity and confront the common problem threatening the lives and safety of every citizen of this country" And let me add, we should stop decieving ourselves and wasting public money thinking of organising any election. Those who have failed us will still force themselves on us. Let all of come together and save Nigeria from this terrible insecurity. The kidnapping and banditry in Nigeria have become too difficult to understand. Let all Nigerians of all persuasions come together to assist the government find solutions to this insecurity. We must stop pretending. All is not well with us.

Attention: @DHQNigeria @HQNigerianArmy @PoliceNG @OfficialDSSNG Currently Kautikari Village in Chibok is being attacked. If I'm not mistaken, this particular town has been attacked more than 100 times mostly with serious casualties. The last one we lost our key vigilante members who have been critical in securing the village which is the second largest after Chibok the LG HQ. Please do something so this is not fallen, if that happens, Chibok will be overturned by the terrorists. @POTUS @PeteHegseth @USAfricaCommand @officialABAT @NuhuRibadu

Making custard for one person is already stressful. Making it for a crowd and having it come out nice? That's next level 😭. Tomorrow you people will say superpowers are not real 😭😭

I have met a lot of people that voted BAT the last time who will be voting Peter Obi next year. I have also met a lot of first timers and people who didn’t vote last time that will vote this time because they are voting for Peter Obi. Their reason is that BAT has been an incompetent failure after all his promises and shouting “Emi Lokan” in 2023 and they consider Peter Obi the best and only credible option. I haven't met any true Peter Obi supporter that is now supporting BAT or any other candidate(this is my reality) I believe this administration hasn't lived up to the hype by its agents, supporters & ministers but I cannot deny that it's been the worst ever we have seen to date. And anyone currently supporting them is delusional. That this administration has made propaganda and corruption their trademark is evident in all the arms and institutions of government. Alex Otti has shown that governance is truly not rocket science by adopting the Peter Obi model, and while BAT has failed woefully in 3 years he has excelled amazingly. It is now obvious to all that Peter Obi is the only one who can turn around the fortunes of Nigeria. There is no better option period!

One year ago, Fulani Islamic terrorists stormed Yelwata, Nigeria, slaughtering more than 200 Christians. Most were women and children sheltering at a local Catholic mission. Today, we remember the martyrs. The world must not forget the Christian genocide in Nigeria.

Insecurity: Nigeria Cannot Continue Like This I received with deep shock and sadness the tragic death of retired Major General Rabe Abubakar, who reportedly died while in the custody of kidnappers. Earlier, before this heartbreaking news, I also received disturbing reports of renewed bandit attacks in Sokoto and Kwara States. The armed bandits reportedly blocked a market route in Sokoto and abducted traders, while terrorists invaded communities in Kwara State, kidnapping scores of citizens and killing innocent people, are heartbreaking and alarming. These incidents are not isolated tragedies; they are clear manifestations of the deepening security crisis confronting our nation. But particularly painful is the reported death of Major General Rabe Abubakar, a distinguished military officer who dedicated a significant part of his life to defending Nigeria and protecting its citizens. It is tragic that a man who served his fatherland with honour, rose through the ranks of the Nigerian Armed Forces, and retired after years of meritorious service, would meet such a heartbreaking end at the hands of criminal elements. His death is a national tragedy and a sobering indictment of the insecurity that has engulfed our country. When traders can no longer travel safely to markets, farmers cannot access their farms, communities live under constant fear, and even retired senior military officers are not spared from the menace of kidnapping and violent crime, it becomes evident that our nation is facing a grave security emergency. Security remains the foremost responsibility of any government. Every life lost, every citizen abducted, and every community displaced represent a painful failure of our collective duty to protect the Nigerian people. The recurring attacks in Sokoto, Kwara, and many other parts of the country demonstrate that insecurity is not only persisting but spreading in both scope and intensity. I once again urge the Federal Government and our security agencies to move beyond rhetoric and adopt a more proactive, intelligence-driven, technology-based, and coordinated approach to tackling insecurity. We must strengthen our security architecture, improve intelligence gathering, secure our borders, equip and motivate our security personnel, and ensure that those responsible for these heinous crimes are apprehended and brought to justice. A nation where citizens live in fear cannot prosper. A nation where economic activities are disrupted daily by criminal elements cannot attract investment, create jobs, or guarantee a better future for its people. We must urgently reclaim every part of our country from terrorists, bandits, kidnappers, and all criminal gangs threatening our collective existence. My heartfelt condolences go to the family of Major General Rabe Abubakar, his former colleagues in the Armed Forces, and all Nigerians who have lost loved ones to insecurity. I also sympathise with the families of those killed, those abducted, and the affected communities in Sokoto, Kwara, and across the nation. The recurring tragedies and embarrassing security failures we continue to witness make the quest for a New Nigeria not only necessary but inevitable. We must build a nation where every citizen can live, work, travel, and pursue legitimate economic activities without fear. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO
