Breaking news: the Event Horizon Telescope team unveils strong magnetic fields spiraling at the edge of Milky Way’s central black hole, Sagittarius A*. This new image suggests that strong magnetic fields may be common to all black holes.

New paper! Tram and I estimated the dust grain alignment mechanisms present in a galaxy using far-infrared polarimetric observations. Grains are aligned by B-fields, of course, and we now provide their size distributions.

@AAS_Office while it’s to late to implement all guidelines from last year, you can still enact safety measures: mandatory masking, encourage people stay home if feeling sick, testing and isolating if feeling sick during meeting.
