seeing kingsman teach the streamers that are coming in new to the game wouldve been fun to watch and seeing how/if he can coach a team of newbies, how those newbies and maybe some more casual players can play against a team thats also people of the same skill as them with a top player showing them their tips and tricks and how those teams all play against each other. That would do wonders to show off the game and how new people can start to play. The way the tournament actually played out tho, that was not only kinda boring (you literally just watch kingsmans team smack a bunch of newbies into oblivion) but it didnt give any actual exposure of how fun rivals can be for a newcomer. At best youll get new players who have seriously high expectations that theyll hop on, pick magik, and have a game like kingsman, which is really unrealistic, or they might end up entirely disheartened ab playing at all bc it looks like theyll just be railed. I dont think any of the non rivals streamers even got to experience what the game is actually like, they just got stomped by top players. Im happy for the winners and its not their fault the team making was garbage, but I feel bad for the non rivals players who basically got no chance to actually play the game or show their audience anything to be interested in. If theres another tournament like this, the teams either need some serious attention paid to who is on each team to make things even a little fair, or it should be more along the lines of non rivals vs non rivals (which, yes, wont have to sick kingsman combos, but wont be such a steamroll that audiences new to the game wont have anything to be invested in). Cinna really dropped the ball with this tournament and I really hope this kind of thing doesnt happen again.
