Hey everyone, A few shipping updates! First off, we're still going hard every single day. We haven't really taken a day off since this started. Saturdays, Sundays...doesn't matter everything is blurring together. We're doing everything we can to get these novels out the door as fast as possible. Heck tomorrow is my birthday and I'm going to be doing this but the job. is. not. done. It's been awesome seeing international orders from Batch 1 and Batch 2 landing in your hands. Thank you all for the patience. I also updated the shipping ticker on the site. We're now pushing through orders 11,000–21,000, which means... We're officially about halfway through shipping all pre-order novels. We're waiting on updating shipping confirmations from MacMillian. The biggest thing slowing us down right now is still address changes. Yes, we're still updating addresses every day. We get emails every minute of every day asking for them. Happy to do it! What's happening though is shipping notifications are showing up in inboxes, people check them and realize: "OH NO... that's my old address!" Then they email us after the box has already been packed or shipped. We try to catch as many as possible before they leave the warehouse, but once they're gone, they're gone. At that point we have repack and resend. That's just the reality of shipping A LOT of books. We can post deadlines, reminders, updates, emails, social posts... but information doesn't always reach everyone at the same time. Sometimes someone sees the fourth reminder instead of the first. All good. So now we're still pushing forward but also trying to help fix the ones that are hitting errors. Another thing worth mentioning: If USPS marks a package as "Return to Sender" because the address is undeliverable, they are often not actually returning the book. In many cases they're destroying it. Yeah...it stinks. So far about 65 orders from Batch 1 & 2 have received that status. We won't know the final number until a few weeks after delivery attempts are completed. If this happens to you, please email us and we'll get your address updated and figure out the next step. If you need to update your address, PLEASE use the Contact page on the website as soon as possible. One of the benefits of running the pre-order for so long is that it allowed me to estimate exactly how many extra books we'd need for damaged shipments, lost packages, address issues, and all the other chaos that comes with shipping something this massive. I set thousands of books aside specifically for situations like these. Once EVERYTHING is shipped and everyone is taken care of, if we still have inventory left, I'll put those copies in the store. However, I will not be reprinting the pre-order cover. Once these are gone, everything switches over to the bookstore cover forever... and then I'm going to sleep for approximately nine million years. Midnight Editions are moving along nicely. We have a BIG shipment heading out tomorrow. We hit a couple slower days because I ran out of signed stickers and had to switch to signing books as they ship. The Battle Worn Dust Jackets arrive next week, so we'll begin shipping those out as well. Alright, back to it. -Olan

Shipping Update. June 1st. 2026. Had a great meeting with MacMillian to discuss where they’re at and the small of the issue they’re running into with international orders. They have fixed it. We had about 100 orders kick back during Round 1, where they manually tracked down and fixed the addresses. After that first round, only about 15 orders got kicked back from Batch 1, Round 2 which is actually a huge improvement. Usually this means the address is unreadable, incomplete, or the computer system doesn’t know how to interpret certain non-English keyboard characters. We had a couple Arabic addresses that had trouble transferring between systems. And UK addresses are still causing a few issues but less so now. We even had someone put their name as "My Email My Email" which... haha maybe that's a real name, idk. So we’re reaching out to those people directly to update addresses or track down whatever information we need. International peeps, the good news is: they’re figuring it out and pushing through it all. I’ve already seen a few of you getting tracking numbers, which is awesome. We also now have tracking data for orders up to and beyond the 10,000-ish mark they went out today, which is great. It really feels like everyone is starting to hit their groove. MacMillian has honestly been crushing it, and I’ve been boots on the ground too packing, taping, shipping, unloading. Not a spare hand is being wasted getting these things out. This week we entered the phase of shipping orders roughly in the BATCH 3: 10,000–16,000 range while simultaneously packing 16,000–20,000-ish. And a few in BATCH 2 international. Also worth mentioning: before we started shipping, I had a choice between faster automated packaging kind of a cold-press cardboard Cheez-It box style that automatically packs and labels or the slower, stronger, more expensive cardboard T-fold boxes. We tested both. I hated how the faster packaging looked and felt. It would have moved WAY faster, but it simply wasn’t as strong. We even had one test where a puncture went straight into the book. Look, damage is unavoidable with shipping. It’s going to happen regardless of what happens, we even had a Midnight Edition get damaged and it was in a cardboard box while inside a bubble mailer haha. That’s why I set aside thousands of books that aren’t for sale purely for replacements and exchanges. I chose the slower route knowing it would add a little more time... but also a lot more protection. Was that the right move? I think so. I like doing things right the first time. Usually that means things move a little slower. But sincerely, thank you for the patience. The job isn't done, until you all have your books. Onwards! -O

Happy Final Space Friday! 🚀 LOTS going on! 1️⃣ Macmillan has started shipping some graphic novels early to get a head start, the 18th is our full on shipping day but I gave the thumbs up to do what they got to do. We’re officially entering the NO SPOILER zone for a bit. There’s so much I want to talk about, but neither the official Final Space channels nor I will be posting spoilers until all pre-orders are out. I'm only going to only be retweet or post any posts that keep it vague or are general feelings. :) 2️⃣ New tour dates dropping Monday! Atlanta, Salt Lake City, and hopefully Ottawa! (Jam Filled is looking into renting a theater to screen episodes for the event.) Also Nashville, Awake Awake might be doing a live set! 3️⃣ This pop-up I got made for tour is SO cool haha. I had to order two sets of everything for the tour, to ensure I have a safety but also so I can taper shipping them out to events. 4️⃣ I’ll post a video Monday explaining how to read the book alongside the soundtrack. We intentionally let some songs run longer, so when you hit a QR code, scan it right away, even if another track is still playing. When it lands, it REALLY lands. it's really fun to read it with the soundtrack. 5️⃣ I’m updating the commentary section in the back of the book this weekend, there's a few things in there already. Originally I planned audio commentary only, but I figured out how to make a playlist of videos instead, which works way better. 6️⃣ “1000” the first digital expansion in the back of the book is DONE and available Day 1. The others are still in progress. Daz is coming back from a much-needed holiday and wrapping another graphic novel before jumping back in. These expansions will release in layers to keep the story going in some areas I thought would be fun to explore. “1000” alone is 30 pages…and it rips. 7️⃣ Midnight and Color editions are shipping at the same time, yes but we’ll be slower than Macmillan distribution.
