Benchmarks are cool and stuff. But when you factor in costs, can you REALLY compare properly? Ferrari is also faster than a Hyundai, but the cost is different as well. We need a benchmark that normalizes based on cost performance.

Does this mean that when using Fable in Cursor, retained data from non-enterprise is subject to being trained on? @cursor_ai @ericzakariasson @leerob ? This exclusion from privacy mode makes sense when reading Anthropics terms, but I'm trying to grasp the implications.

When you start building and testing the waters with a new product, DO NOT search for competitors. It WILL destroy your creativity and instead you'll build the average of the competitors you find. Build your own solution first. Solve how you think it should be solved.

The best products in the world don't have any users. They spent 100% of their time on developing and 0% on marketing, so nobody knows about them. What's your % ratio ;)? Be honest!

My entire feed is about Cursor and Composer 2.5, loving it. So many people were telling me I'm behind because I "still" use Cursor, why I never use Claude Code, that I should "continue and move on". Meanwhile, I knew Cursor and the team were cooking. No regrets.

You know what I really miss at this point? A model like gpt-4.1-mini that DOESN'T use reasoning (aka faster responses) with the same pricing, but mid-2026 in terms of quality. Gpt-5-mini and 5.4-mini are much better but it's a reasoning model and more exp.

Use-case: analyse huge amounts of data and produce enriched (meta)data. @sama is this something that's on the roadmap?

I've been using Cursor since it's very first release and I will be honest, I've had my frustrations at times. But it has gotten noticeably better, more stable, more proper releases etc in the last few months. This 2.5 model is also pretty darn good.
Introducing Composer 2.5, our most powerful model yet. It's more intelligent, better at sustained work on long-running tasks, and more reliable at following complex instructions. For the next week, we’re doubling the included usage of the model.

GitHub gets hacked, huge Railway outage, GDP just deleting things left and right. All within 24 hours. The only thing to make things complete would be another Cloudflare outage now. If this happens in the next 24h I'm going to eat a RAM module.

We're ~6 months away from the first person in history buying a lambo with RAM

Wow I just found out that Hetzner changed some of their server types. My EX130R used to be 130eur/mo for 256GB RAM, 2x2tb. Now if you want 256GB RAM, the cheapest option is 1k eur/mo. That's 8x price increase 🤯

You've probably read about HTTP 402 "Payment Required" responses. Cloudflare and Stripe both offer ways to accept payments for content this way, especially nice for gating content from crawlers/AI. But.. does any scraper or AI actually pay for it? Anyone ever received $?

Supply is probably there, but I'm seriously doubting demand. Maybe someone from @Cloudflare or @Stripe can offer some statistics or insights? How's adoption and throughput?

All we need is a "I made $10k with x402" post for this to become a billion dollar niche, I'd reckon 😂
