Financial Literacy fuels the American Dream. It is a foundational skill, similar to reading and writing, which is why we must get our youth engaged and excited to learn from an early age. I was pleased to join students, educators, and local partners including nearly a dozen financial institutions for a financial literacy fair at @USTreasury to close out Financial Literacy Month. In addition to visiting booths and exhibitions with learning modules, the students in attendance were invited to participate in @Visa’s Financial Soccer game with special guest “coaches,” @TreasurerBeach and Assistant Secretary Luke Pettit. Under President Trump’s leadership, our Administration is championing financial literacy for all age groups across the country. We are working to ensure that young Americans have the tools to save, invest, and plan for the years ahead—through @TrumpAccounts and many other resources available at MyMoney.gov. As we approach our nation’s 250th anniversary, strengthening financial literacy will help expand opportunity and prepare the next generation to build a more prosperous future.

When community partners show up, students feel it. At a recent STEM Day at @STLCIC with the @StLouisBlues @Everfi, kids explored careers beyond the ice and the STEM skills behind them.

This weekend, the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation hosted the 2nd Annual, Power of Us mental health summit, presented by the Steele Family Foundation and @QuikTrip ! NYC just raised the bar for financial education ➡️ bit.ly/everfiNYCPS Since there’s no statewide mandate, NYC Public Schools took initiative to rigorously review & select top-tier personal finance programs to ensure students are ready for real-life financial decisions.

Financial education mandates are on the rise. ↗️ As of summer 2025, 29 states have taken action to ensure students graduate with essential financial knowledge. Now's the time for financial institutions & purpose-driven organizations to step up and be part of the solution. 🤝

Yesterday, the Chicago Bears hosted 120 Richardson Middle School students for a NFL Character Playbook Mental Health Huddle. Students heard from former Bears Safety Ryan Mundy and Bears Director of Wellness Carla Suber on social media’s impact on mental health.

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, we teamed up with @EVERFI to host an event with the Far Rockaway, Harlem, and Bronx Giants! Darius Slayton, Dru Phillips, Tyler Nubin, and Montrell Washington took a trip to the Bronx to engage in a panel discussion, along with a hands-on activity with the boys and NYPD officers to discuss the importance of mental wellness and character building. Thanks to @NFLFoundation students in our area have free access to @EVERFI’s Character Playbook and Mental Wellness Basics curriculum!
