Just left my LA City Hall job after three years. Somehow I did this to my ID card by the end.
A lot of the job was working with LA's homeless services. There’s a measure on the ballot now to decide whether we keep funding those services.
If we let this funding die we're fucked.
This is a chance for Los Angeles to make the investment needed to reduce homelessness once and for all. #MeasureA would generate more than $1 bil/yr to provide vital housing & services to LA County’s 75,000 unhoused people @TheBoldNewWay

We’d say the rent is too damn high, but that was true ten years ago. Now the rent is just impossible.
When it comes to being able to afford LA County, we're at a breaking point. The good news is that we can do something about it.
