The fall of Helldivers 2 needs to be taught in game dev conferences for decades to come. It is truly astounding how a company turned their GotY contender into a desolate wasteland in just 6 months.

Helldivers the only game where people optimize the fun out of the game so hard by picking one build that answers everything, then complain when one single best-in-slot item of that build gets nerfed out of that position and they actually have to engage with game mechanics again

hey @helldivers2 here's how to fix this
- revert fire changes
- add HP to charger legs
- make stripping charger leg armor remove that amount from leg HP
boom
nerfs flamethrower vs chargers without changing standard leg armor breaking strategies
these systems all exist already

but dude I swear helldiver gamers will do ANYTHING to avoid just playing against the charger the same way they did at level 10 cuz I don't see ANYONE actually shooting chargers in the back anymore. It's like being forced to fight them that way is an insult and they MUST armor pen
