We conducted a scoping review of international-level sport policies for pregnant, postpartum or parenting high-performance athletes to understand what policies currently exist, and to identify policy gaps to be addressed. Now available in @BJSM_BMJ
✅ More International Federations (IFs) are introducing sport-specific policies for pregnant, postpartum, and parenting athletes.
📈 This is a step forward, recognizing that pregnancy is not the end of an athlete’s career!

Why policies matter:
🏅 Performance → Proper policies help athletes return safely & at their best
💪 Health → Prevents injury & long-term complications

They need evidence-based guidance to move, rest, and recover.
