For the third time this year, an estimated 50,000 staff in over 67 universities are on strike for fair pay, working conditions and pensions, with @ucu.
I raised this with Quintin McKellar, Board Member of Universities UK on the Education Committee this week.

BREAKING: @KingsCollegeLon is devaluing studentsโ degrees using emergency regs โto allow progression/award where performance is prevented by events which may be beyond the control of the College.โ But examinersโ resignations arenโt beyond its control but because of its decisions!

Been thinking about this all night. Canโt express how frustrated/ sad this makes me. During the pandemic, as a mother of 2 nursery aged children I felt so completely unsupported & isolated by my employer. I have no idea what reality this video refers to, but itโs not mine.
