Last month, at the Michigan #EmoSex conference, I said a few words about the friction between gender and sexuality studies, and also my thoughts about a "trans method." Maybe you'd like to read them, too.

Here is the (much more detailed) response from Modern Languages staff, outlining the serious factual errors in the consultation document, as well as its violations of proper process: drive.google.com/file/d/1Lmc…

1/ I was asked yesterday by someone to give examples of men who represented healthy masculinity and I thought, "well, it's men who don't think that being a man ultimately involves dominance over everyone in your surroundings".

Really great event! Took lots from it about creating a space where we can talk about disabilities in the classroom and make sure everyone is aware of the barriers and how to minimise their effects.
A phenomenal event! 3 first steps to make teaching more accessible 1) Formatting: Use a sans serif font, 1.5 line spacing and 12 font size 2) Run materials through an accessibility check 3) Visit the classroom (& work with the building manager to get any necessary changes made)
