Growing Under the Rainbow π π± has started!
Over 1100 students from 55 classes grades 2-12 all across FL, are learning to become scientists! π§¬π¬
Mint cuttings will be rooted under red, blue, green, and white LEDs and growth will be measured for a few weeks!

A blue sea dragon (Glaucus atlanticus) eating a jellyfish! In the ocean, these awesome sea slugs consume Portuguese man o' war's stinging tentacles, storing the stinging cells to use later!

A Tardigrade takes a break from feeding to look directly at you. This water bear is magnified 400 times. Itβs about half a millimeter in length. Itβs complex mouth parts are visible here, as well as itβs black eyes, which are a single cell.

Bees don't only come in yellow. Xylocopa caerulea is a species of carpenter bee, that is brilliantly blue. They live in Southeast Asia, India and Southern China, and are generally non-aggressive .
