Verstappenโs 2022-2023 seasons are unbelievable. Over the 2 seasons combined he won 15/22 (68%) and 19/22 (86.4)%), which together is good enough for 77.3% across 44 races
Ascariโs record of 75% win rate (8 races) stood from 1952 until the end of 2023
The craziest part? If you chose to include sprints, he would have 15 2/25, and 19 4/28, which combined is 75.5%!
Even with sprints across 2 seasons, 44 races and 9 sprints, he managed to top Ascariโs 1952 record.

Weโve already seen Perez & Bottas against enough other drivers to know where they stood in the previous eras. Even at Racing Point, Checo was off Ocon in qualifying and before that slower than an overweight Hulkenberg as teammates and Button.
Bottas on the other hand handily beat Massa for 3 years, and destroyed Zhou and Sauber putting the slowest car in some ridiculous positions particularly in 2024.
We can safely say that Bottas isnโt a slower driver than Button over a single lap so either something isnโt working on his side or Perez has found an extra gear that he didnโt have from 2012-24. Thereโs no inbetween.

No idea why peopleโs perception of Hadjar is that he isnโt a good driver?
Hes been a good driver since debut, genuinely. The only reason certain people arenโt rating him is because it works against Verstappen, thatโs the only reason.
And even with that in mind? Given what qualifying has become this year, heโs doing as good of a job as can be asked of him. Race pace is a different matter, but personally Hadjar has been, and continues to be a good driver.

Celebrini is clearly the leagues MVP, when you look at his team, and how he performed relative to his teammates his teams climb largely on the back of his play, itโs not even debatable.
The sharks are the worst team in the league if he isnโt on the team. The level he reached last year was unbelievable

"Max is capable of driving at the limit every lap of the race. Nobody else can do that to the same extent. The decision-makers know this, not just those at Red Bull. We're talking about roughly three-tenths of a second per lap that Max is capable of driving faster than anyone else.

2017 Verstappen is criminally underrated, and was in a car no where near the best or fastest car.
Itโs probably a bit easier to say Kimi is because as with most sports and especially F1 environment is key to success, and Kimi is able to showcase his otherworldly talents in his car.
Max wasnt able to hammer it home like Kimi is now, and was mostly overshadowed by a Ferrari/Mercedes battle of 2 faster cars
Overall, if you remember 2017, Max was superb, and same can be said of Kimi in 2026
