Firefighters responded to a 2 alarm fire in a 2-story apartment building located in the 14900 block of Oka Rd at approximately 4:09pm today. The fire is under control at this time. Estimating 25-30 displaced residents. @RedCrossNorCal assisting. Cause of fire under investigation.

London Fire Brigade joins the nation to mourn the sad passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. Our thoughts are with the Royal Family at this difficult time.

The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.
The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.

#SCCFD is on scene of a residential fire in @CityofCupertino. The fire is out. Firefighters will be conducting salvage and overhaul for some time. Like all home fires, this is a reminder to ensure working smoke alarms by testing them once a month.@sccfirefighters

A big fire was averted by good, quick firefighting work. FSU 2 & 3 were on standby for this incident. Thankfully it was contained and both units were cleared.

Fire Crew taking a well deserved rest after battling a two alarm residential fire at an apartment complex off of E Remington early this morning. 4 units were saved and 4 were damaged with heavy smoke, fire and water. Our thoughts are with the 18 residents who have been displaced.

Our deepest condolences to @VTA and family & friends of those lost. It is such an incredibly tight-knit family in the world of public service that our own volunteers who work for VTA know those affected. All three FSUs responded yesterday, and are prepared to continue to assist.
Our hearts are broken. We are grateful to our community for their love and support as we mourn the loss of nine victims of the horrific event of Wednesday, May 26, 2021.
