Following a meeting of the Regional Committee the following statement has been issued.
It is the position of the Region Five committee to reject the proposed pay offer of 3.8%.
Furthermore the short time frame for both consultation and voting is deemed insufficient βπ»
Greater Manchester FBU Brigade Committee meet on Thursday to discuss the NJC pay offer
Branch Officials have the regional position and have been asked to consult with members so further discussions can take place on Thursday βπ»

Following an extended debate and discussion this morning, the position of the regional committee was to REJECT the offer of 3.8%.
The Region 5 Regional Committee met yesterday to discuss the 3.8% pay offer.
It's fair to say, they were not impressed.
Today the @fbumerseyside Brigade Committee meets to discuss the offer.
