We can only keep speaking for @ConfedCreek. It never should have been a stormwater outflow, but here we are. It's only getting worse with these severe rain events. Meaningful mitigation on @cityofcalgary land needs doing @lizettendp @rebeccakschultz @MichelleRempel #yyc #yyccc

What I am learning about @CalgaryParks is there is no revenue stream to buy land when needing to protect ecologically sensitive areas. I think it’s time to pursue local corporate collaboration to feed a fund for land acquisitions. #yyc #yyccc #yycparks @JyotiGondek @jasmine_mian

Yes, @savenosecreek is correct, and we have precedents about how much setbacks to creeks have followed-ish. It's supposed to be 30 meters on either side of the bank and shored which doesn't stop developers asking for leeway in their "special circumstances." We say "No thank you."
