Iโve seen a few people mention this and I remember it being the case also in CWC Fantasy:
Make sure that your VC is on someone that you dont want to captain in your team, basically if you get down to your last player left and they are VC, the game wonโt allow you to captain them as the VC cant go on anyone that has played.
For reference, Iโve placed my VC on Xhaka as I plan to captain Elvedi. Once Xhaka has played he stays my VC for the whole and I have nothing to worry about.
If you only have Diaz left to play and he is VC, the game wont let you take it off him as you cant put it on anyone else and you wonโt be able to captain him.
