#selfharm has different functions for different people, and understanding this is central to the @FReSHSTART_UK approach to therapy.
This #SIAD we wanted to highlight some of the many factors behind #selfharm, identified by people with #livedexperience as part of our #research.
Many thanks to everyone involved with the FReSH START study! Everyone has put in a tremendous amount of hard work and we appreciate your support.

Fantastic to visit with the Mental Health Liaison Team in Blackpool to discuss the #FReSHSTARTstudy and the role of MHLTs in this important study. This study would not be possible without their partnership and hard work. Thank you! #Teamwork#MentalHealthResearch#ClinicalTrials
It is vital that research into #selfharm includes the voices of people with lived experience. This #SelfHarmAwarenessDay we would like to thank our #PPI group who co-produced a therapy intervention for people with #selfharm which is being evaluated in a national #clinicaltrial.
