This is a flat-out lie.
There are HUNDREDS of pro-Christianity books and Bibles in the district, and we found a version of the Bible at every school.
There's even books about how to stay Christian in high school.

The attack was filmed and clearly coordinated, and the video was shared by House rep Brian Harrison. Thenāchillinglyāthe story picked up the Assistant Attorney General for what used to be the civil rights division of the DOJ, who promised an investigation.

This is the fruit of SB13. Melissa ISD is forbidding class libraries, book bins, & reading corners after book banners forced the law over objections of Texas parents.
The law doesnāt require it. But we @TXFreedomRead told legislators it would happen.

Regarding SB13, districts are trying to adhere to the law but when a law is as poorly written, confusing, & impractical as this one, itās not possible. The law doesnāt work! All of our blame lies directly w/the legislators who created this mess, & those who pushed it forward.
