Republicans — these are the critical priorities and planks we need to fight for to protect the future of Texas children. Education Reform: Eliminate waste and bureaucracy in public education through bold efficiency reforms, while rewriting the Texas Education Code to restore excellence and accountability in our schools.

⚠️ Republicans let us vote for the children today!! Let us vote for the future of Texas. "Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it." -Proverbs 22:6
🚨Education Reform Must Be a Top Priority for the RPT! 🚨 Fellow Texans and Republican delegates, The Legislative Priorities Committee has placed Education Reform in Position #11. This is our chance to send a clear message: Education must rank in the Top 8 legislative priorities for the Republican Party of Texas (RPT). If it doesn’t make the cut, education reform will not be a formal priority heading into the next legislative session. Why Education Matters to Texas: Texas is one of the fastest-growing states in the nation, with a booming economy driven by energy, technology, manufacturing, and agriculture. But none of that success is sustainable without a well-educated workforce. Education is the foundation for economic prosperity, strong families, safe communities, and opportunity for every Texan. Budget Reality: Education is one of the largest shares of the Texas state budget. In recent bienniums, Article III (Education) spending has reached tens of billions, with K-12 and higher education together forming a massive portion of state expenditures. When combined with health and human services, these areas consume nearly 70% of the total state budget. Future Impact: An uneducated or poorly educated generation leads to higher welfare dependency, increased crime, lower workforce participation, and strained public services. Every other issue we care about — border security, taxes, healthcare, economic growth, and liberty — becomes harder (or impossible) to solve if we fail to properly educate our children today. A strong education system builds self-reliant citizens who contribute to Texas rather than burden it. We need bold reforms: school choice, parental rights, curriculum transparency, workforce-aligned education, and accountability that puts students and parents first — not bureaucrats or unions. Action Needed Now: ✅️Share this post with your RPT delegates. ✅️Urge them to vote Education into the Top 8 priorities. ✅️Contact your Senate District delegates and make your voice heard at the convention. Texas’s future depends on it. Let’s prioritize our kids and secure the Lone Star State for generations to come. Share far and wide, Texans❗️ @TexasEd911 @M4LHarris @M4LWilCoTX @amilynne87 @Julie4TX @BrandonHallTX

Texans! It is essential that education reform be a TOP priority for the RPT! Our children deserve the BEST education…one that is focused on the mastery of fundamentals (like reading, math, science, and history), and FREE from woke indoctrination and ideology!

Thank you, Cindi Castilla, President of Texas Eagle Forum, for stepping forward today to defend the integrity of the Legislative Priorities process. After members of the Legislative Priorities Committee walked to the Rules Committee in an effort to testify against the Rule 32(c) amendment, Cindi was eventually given the opportunity to respectfully address the committee and ask them to reconsider. The rule change removes the Legislative Priorities Committee’s ability to craft language for legislative priorities and instead restricts each priority to a single existing platform plank. That may sound procedural, but in practice it would severely limit the grassroots’ ability to build comprehensive policy objectives around the issues delegates care most about. Cindi has served on Platform Committee during past sessions and understands firsthand how important it is that the grassroots retain the ability to craft comprehensive legislative priorities that actually solve problems and lead to meaningful conservative victories. Her testimony was respectful, thoughtful, and grounded in experience. The Rules Committee will listen to testimony on Rule 32c tomorrow. There is likely to be a motion to reconsider. Please testify if you can. Get in touch with your committee rep and let them know you want them to reconsider the amendment and to vote NO on the amendment.

BREAKING UPDATE: The @okstate administrator who threatened a Conservative student for honoring Charlie Kirk in a speech was REMOVED from her position.
EXCLUSIVE: @JoshuaW4145, a conservative Oklahoma State University student, spoke with us after he was reprimanded by his university for giving a speech honoring the death of Charlie Kirk and promoting free speech. A faculty member allegedly told him that his speech was "triggering" and "partisan," and that his year was going to be "difficult" for him. He encourages others to stand up for their rights in order to "spark the flames of positive change on your campus and community that will never be put out."

The Rules Committee just passed a troubling change to the Legislative Priorities process, but there is still time for convention delegates to stop it in Permanent Rules. Under the current rule, the Legislative Priorities Committee can craft legislative priority language that allows the grassroots to clearly define policy goals for the Legislature. The new language proposed by current SREC member Matt Patrick would dramatically restrict that process by requiring each priority to be tied to one and only one platform plank. That means no broader policy framework, no comprehensive reform language, and no ability for the committee to build priorities that address grassroots' testimony on current and complex issues in a dynamic or meaningful way. As someone who has chaired the “Stop Sexualizing Texas Kids” Legislative Priority for the past 4 years and through 2 legislative sessions, I cannot imagine trying to achieve the incredible victories we secured under these kinds of restrictions. Many of those wins required detailed policy goals and coordinated reforms that went well beyond a single platform plank. This change would severely limit grassroots advocacy and weaken the ability of convention delegates to shape effective legislative priorities for the Republican Party of Texas. The Legislative Priorities process should empower the grassroots, not box them into narrow limitations that reduce serious policy issues to a single sentence. This rule change has passed through the Rules Committee, but it is not final yet. I strongly encourage delegates attending convention to contact your Rules Committee representatives and urge them to reconsider this proposal before Permanent Rules are adopted. #txlege #TexasGOP #LegePriorities #ProtectKids

When it comes to kids, NEVER bet against the moms.
SCOTUS JUST PUBLISHED THE EXACT LIST OF RIGHTS PARENTS NOW HAVE IF A SCHOOL TRIES TO BLOCK THEM OUT Not vague victories. Not "parents win somehow." NAMED PROTECTIONS. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS. School by school. 🇺🇸 Advance notice — schools must tell parents BEFORE exposing children to the challenged books 🇺🇸 Opt-out right — parents can excuse their children from that specific instruction 🇺🇸 Free Exercise protection — forcing children into lessons that "pose a very real threat of undermining" religious beliefs is unconstitutional 🇺🇸 Preliminary injunction — this is ACTIVE NOW, not pending a future ruling 🇺🇸 Montgomery County, MD — the specific district that started this must comply immediately 🇺🇸 4th Circuit overruled — the lower court that sided with the school board was reversed 🇺🇸 Elementary grades targeted — the ruling applies to the LGBTQ -inclusive storybooks in elementary English classes 🇺🇸 Nationwide signal — any district with a no-opt-out policy on religious-conflict content now faces the same legal exposure 🇺🇸 Administrative burden — schools must build notification and opt-out systems before the 2025-2026 year begins 🇺🇸 Case continues — the injunction holds while the full lawsuit plays out in lower courts 💀 6-3 vote 💀 Majority: Roberts, Thomas, Alito, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, Barrett 💀 ZERO deference to the school board's "no opt-out" policy 💀 100% parental religious exercise — that is what the court protected Every protection on this list belongs to parents. Not administrators. PARENTS. Justice Sotomayor warned this "will be chaos for this Nation's public schools." These are the rights that caused that chaos. I'll keep you updated. Turn on notifications. 🚨
