“We are champions, Omer.” Ronen Neutra, the father of murdered Israeli hostage Omer Neutra, z"l, in a heartbreaking tribute to his son after the New York Knicks playoffs victory. "The Knicks took the championship, just as you dreamed. The excitement here is indescribable, but it is mixed with a deep longing for you. Since the beginning of the playoffs, we have placed the Knicks flag over your grave — it has accompanied us, and you, throughout this crazy journey." Omer was born and raised in New York before moving to Israel. On October 7th, Hamas killed him and took him captive. "His spirit is with us here every second. We know that you are up there, above us, happy, dancing and delighted with this victory. This championship is yours too. Rest in peace, Omer. We will never forget you."

What an incredible day! Thank you to the thousands of marchers and everyone who cheered from the sidelines. Celebrating Jewish identity and Israel has never been more important—and today, we did it together. Am Yisrael Chai! 🇮🇱✡️ #jcrcny #jewish #israel #strongertogether

Tal threw a dart at the map… and it landed on a place so misunderstood that most people think they already know everything about it before ever stepping foot here. After traveling through nearly 50 countries around the world, one thing Tal has learned is that places are never fully defined by the headlines written about them. And you rarely get a chance to learn about the people. The late night beach volleyball games. The mix of cultures, religions, and languages. The markets full of music and chaos. The strangers inviting you into their homes. The cafés packed until midnight. The feeling of life everywhere you go. This place is complicated. But it’s also human. Would you believe this is Israel?

When people can’t tell the difference between extremist rhetoric from the past and what’s being said online today… that should alarm all of us.

Antisemitism is so resurgent in U.S. politics that some of the worst hate speech you've ever heard has become a part of day-to-day life for Jewish politicians. axios.com/2026/05/18/antisem…

Every person deserves to feel safe when attending religious services. Even if we don't all agree on politics, we can all agree that surrounding and intimidating families outside a synagogue is wrong.

A new report, which examined over 10,000 photographs and videos from October 7th, totalling more than 1,800 hours of visual analysis, has finally revealed the true scale of Hamas’ sexual violence committed during the attack. Survivor Darin Komarov, who hid in a caravan during the attack, said she heard at least three separate rapes. She said: ‘I heard one rape where they were passing her around. She was probably injured, judging by her screams - screams you have never heard anywhere… 'It’s between silence and screams, between pain and wanting to die… And after they finished, they shot her… You hear a bang - and silence.' 'There was laughter. There were jokes. They were passing them from one to another… It was done for fun.' After being rescued, she said she saw their bodies. ‘There wasn’t a single body that just “died normally”,' she said. 'Every single one had gone through torture.’

Mother’s Day is for them, too 💔 For the mothers who were kidnapped. For the mothers raising kids alone whose fathers were kidnapped. For the mothers still dealing with the complex trauma they and their families experienced because of Hamas captivity. For the mothers whose children were taken by Hamas. For the mothers whose children came back, only to be buried and mourned. For the mothers who were killed in Hamas captivity or on October 7th. The first Mother’s Day after the return of the hostages is a celebration, but it’s also a stark reminder of what we will never get back. For all the mothers. Today, and every day.

Beautiful Danielle Waldman, daughter of Eyal Waldman. She was murdered on October 7th by Hamas terrorists at just 24 years old. May her memory be a blessing. Prior to October 7th, Eyal opened a design centre in Gaza, donated $360,000 to a hospital there, and created jobs for Palestinians both in the Gaza Strip and in the West Bank. When asked if he regretted this decision after his daughter’s murder, his response was as follows: ‘No, I don't. I think we need to do everything we can to make this place the best place to live in. And we need to stop killing each other and find a way to live together. I have been working for two-and-half decades trying to make peace.’ A tragedy indeed that a man of such profound goodness - whom we all should endeavour to emulate - is treated with such hatred and contempt.
The Israeli here is Eyal Waldman He has been one of Israel’s biggest Peace advocates for a decade His daughter was murdered at the Nova Festival on October 7th But he still advocates for Peace Here he’s rejected simply for being Israeli A tragedy
