It's such a little thing normally, but celebrities humanizing Israelis like this means the world during times like these.
Especially when he's inevitably going to face backlash for it.

At a Pride parade in Bologna, Italy, Israelis and Iranians who had been marching together were assaulted by Free Palestine activists who demanded they take off their shirts which featured a Star of David.
The Italian-Iranian organization "Woman, Life Freedom," condemned the attack, saying that Israelis and Iranians were marching together for a just cause.

I was debating mentioning this at all because it's honestly just a bit too pathetic. I feel second hand embarrassment for this girl who thought snipping a little Israeli flag on some cheap bar decorations was her big moment.
And then only one person claps? And the guy weirded out next to her asking her why she did that? Yikes.

The Lancet, one of the most important medical journals in the world, published a petition today calling for the suspension of the Israeli Medical Association (IMA) from the World Medical Association (WMA).
1,150 professionals signed the petition because the IMA "failed to condemn the genocide of the Palestinians, the destruction of Gaza’s healthcare system, and the torture of detainees."
The IMA has, in actuality, spent the entire war advocating for Gazans, petitioning the government to ensure medical supplies were entering Gaza, and demanding that hospitals in Gaza remain safe havens.
But they're evil because they didn't use the word genocide? It doesn't matter what you do for Palestinians or how you fight for them if you don't use a certain word?
What happened to "actions speak louder than words?"

You know, I would be willing to listen to an argument that "Epstein class" is simply referring to Epstein's relationship with other opulently wealthy people that believed their wealth precluded them from the law and that him being Jewish has nothing to do with it.
But I'm not willing to listen to that argument from someone who got a massive Nazi tattoo on his chest.

Rex Crofton, a man from New Mexico, has been charged with vandalizing a synagogue and Jewish community center earlier this month.
He shattered the doors at both locations with a crowbar, screaming expletives and flipping the buildings off as he did so.
After he was arrested, investigators found a gun and ammunition for multiple other guns at his residence. They also found a Ukrainian flag which Crofton had drawn a swastika onto. According to his mother, Crofton had stolen the flag from his dentist's office because he "felt it was connected to Ukrainian Jews."
There is also footage of him saying that he will "kill all Jews."
Tragedy has been avoided for now, but I doubt that makes New Mexican Jews feel much safer.

Isn't it interesting how every time Jews say we are scared or afraid because of rising antisemitism, we are told we are making it up or overreacting?
Yet people will see that a celebrity posted "How horrible" on October 7th as videos of civilians being brutally slaughtered came out, and it's the end of the world.

Yesterday we saw a woman be brutally mocked on social media because she attended a Knicks game while Jewish.
Just a few days before, we saw a class of Jewish girls be called roaches and rats because they accidentally entered a drainage system tunnel while on a field trip.
In the midst of that, Gwyneth Paltrow, a Jewish celebrity, was lambasted online for promoting homes in Herzliya.
Existing as a Jewish woman isn't a crime, but the internet is intent on acting like it is, apparently.
