Letās not let the disrespectful treatment of our Senator and AG distract from the fact that these proposals - to strip the state Comptrollerās office of its power to fight corruption as well as remove the state police from the AGās office- are just plain bad for New Jersey.
Since I got to Washington, Iāve rarely weighed in on state bills. However, peopleās faith in Government is at risk with these proposals. They should be defeated.
