Kenya-Finland partnership. @ForeignOfficeKE
Kenya and Finland have taken another significant step in deepening bilateral relations through the signing of three Memorandums of Understanding on cooperation in the circular economy and bioeconomy, climate change, education, digitisation and innovation. These agreements will strengthen scientific collaboration, enhance knowledge exchange and foster innovation-driven partnerships that advance sustainable development and shared prosperity for our peoples. We also reaffirmed our shared commitment to reforming multilateral institutions to make them more representative, effective and responsive to the aspirations of the Global South. Additionally, we affirmed our commitment to global peace, the principles of the United Nations Charter, respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all states, and the peaceful resolution of disputes in accordance with international law.

Kenya-Belgium relations.
Held fruitful discussions with His Majesty King Philippe of Belgium on strengthening Kenya-Belgium relations and expanding cooperation in trade, investment, infrastructure and tourism. I thanked Belgium for being the leading destination for Kenyan coffee exports and highlighted the growing opportunities for trade and investment between our two countries. I also briefed His Majesty on the outcomes of the Kenya-Belgium Business Forum and our efforts to create an enabling environment for business and investment. We discussed opportunities to enhance regional connectivity through the extension of the Northern Corridor road and rail network to Kinshasa, strengthening transport links between the Port of Mombasa and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. We further discussed cooperation in tourism and I invited His Majesty to make a maiden visit to Kenya and experience the world-renowned wildebeest migration.

We are at a critical inflection point. The fast-changing dynamics of our world demand that we actively redefine and restructure multilateralism to make it fit for the future. Honored to share the stage with Alexander Schallenberg(former Foreign Minister of Austria), Ivan Marques(Secretary for Multidimensional Security;Organization of American States), and Mario Lubetkin(Foreign Minister of Uruguay) at the #Globsec2026 in Prague. Together, we dove into the complex but necessary conversation on the search for a new, resilient global order. The conversation doesn't stop here. The work to re-imagine and possibly build a more responsive, agile, inclusive, 21st century, global governance architecture continues. @ForeignOfficeKE

A new chapter in telling Kenya’s story to the world. Magical Kenya – Come Experience the Wonder. Our latest cinematic brand film, “The Origin of Wonder,” invites the world to see Kenya not just as a destination, but as a place of connection where nature, culture, rhythm, and humanity come together in a profound and timeless way. This film is not simply about showcasing attractions. It is a sensory journey that captures the spirit of our nation, the landscapes that inspire awe, the cultures that carry our heritage, and the rhythms that define who we are. Kenya is more than a place you visit. It is a place you feel. A place that reminds us of something ancient within ourselves. Our Origin. As Magical Kenya we welcome the world to rediscover wonder. Wonder in our wildlife, our people, our cultures, and our breathtaking beautiful landscapes. Karibu Kenya. Come experience the wonder. #MagicalKenya #OriginOfWonder #ComeExperienceTheWonder #BrandKenya
