Today, the @EU_Commission presented its Fertilisers Action Plan. While the recognition of the scale of the crisis and the need for urgent action is welcome, major questions remain unanswered:
⚠️ What concrete emergency support will farmers receive?
⚠️ What direction will future #ETS and #CBAM revisions take for fertilisers?
⚠️ How will Europe ensure the continuity of its food systems in the face of soaring input costs?
With nitrogen fertiliser prices still 70% above 2024 levels, European farmers are already reducing acreage and moving away from key crops such as wheat. 🇪🇺🌾
