SALE DAY SNIPPET: Mandy Gunn of @MotreeTasmania promised her staff French Champagne if their Harry Angel x Arkiboum colt (lot 45) made their $80k reserve on Day 1 of #InglisPremier. He sold for an incredible $300k - a Motree record - and the emotion involved was there for all to see.

Deeply saddened to learn about the loss of a true gentleman in the racing world. Mike was an exceptional trainer and a genuinely kind person, cherished and respected by everyone. I feel fortunate to have shared in some successes with him. His absence will be profoundly felt. My heartfelt condolences go out to the Moroney Family during this difficult time.
