Hoosier Lottery Loss? We are starting to hear from Hoosiers saying they played the brand new Space Invaders game today and hit big, only to be told no they didn’t! Mike Fields bought 4 of the $5 tickets and hit for $100,000! His wife says a HUGE amount of money especially for her husband who drives a forklift. But when he scanned the ticket to get his winnings, it said $20 winner. He then went downtown to the main office where he met others having the same problem for different amounts, but most in the thousands of dollars! The folks at the Hoosier Lottery told them they are investigating and will reach out by mail in 4-6 week. We also reached out to the Lottery and are waiting to hear back. If you go to the Space Invaders webpage you get a link to register a complaint! Do you remember back in 2022? There was a vendor error then that caused the Hoosier Lottery to pay out $1.7 million. I do not yet know details about this case, but I know several people are dealing with this right now.  Do you think $100,000 winner or $20 winner?

I came across a theory that AI is starting to make more mistakes because the internet is increasingly polluted with AI slop. The idea of AI cannibalising itself into obscurity is one of my favourite things ever. I hope it is true and I hope it becomes impossible to fix.
