#b3d #blender #geometrynodes Folding Curtain is a well-known usage of cloth sim. I used it as a test to see algorithm & parameter differences. 1, 2 are the new cloth sim in GN. 3, 4 are the old cloth sim using the same base mesh and animation settings. 4 enabled self-collision.

#b3d #geometrynodes an experimental feature about XPBD for hair and cloth has been landed in 5.2 Alpha. made some very basic testing. too early for me to say anything. not even sure if it will be out of experimental in 5.2
