Very honoured to have spent time with the courageous volunteers from @antytila_offic charity fund as they delivered supplies around Ukraine’s Donetsk region. So much tireless work and meticulous planning goes into these trips - amazing to get such an insight into their work.

The number of Ukrainian cultural sites hit in Russia’s overnight attack on Kyiv continues to rise, with the Mystetskyi Arsenal on fire this morning. The complex is one of Ukraine’s flagship museums.

In one night Russian military targeted: 1) Kharkiv Art Museum 2) Dovzhenko Film Studio in Kyiv, historical costume collection 3) Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, a sacred site, 11th century. Double tap killed 5 firefighters in Kharkiv. The pattern shows a plan: culture was the main target.

As Director-General of UNESCO, Khaled El-Enany has not issued an official, standalone quote or statement directly condemning Russia. Will he do it now? Ever? Drop him a line @UNESCO_DG

I cannot believe what I’m witnessing in Kyiv tonight. Priests at the Kyiv Lavra one of the holiest Christian sites in Europe are rushing to save crucifixes, icons and sacred artefacts while Russia attacks the city. This is what Moscow’s “Christian values” look like.

The comments in the previous post highlight the level of ignorance and disinformation that is being spread about Ukraine that is completely false. I also want to be very clear that some of the people that asked me if the war in Ukraine was still going on are people that I personally know. So no, its not as simple as blaming MAGA. There is a genuine problem here of ignoring the world around you for a completely false sense of comfort and security. It also really does just boil down to willful ignorance. So what does it mean? We work harder. We spread the truth and fight disinformation and make it our mission to inform. That's why I spent so much time talk to everyone I could about Ukraine while I was in America. Keep sharing good sources of information about Ukraine, keep talking about Ukraine, it all matters.

While I was briefly back in the US, I was disheartened by how many would say "oh is that still going on?" when referring to the war in Ukraine. It was incredibly frustrating for me especially as an active duty medic in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At that point its just willful ignorance. Everyone has a cellphone, laptop, tablet, etc. Information is literally at your finger tips. But instead of informing oneself properly, the choice seems to be watching AI slop, mainstream media, and other short attention span apps. The was is not over, it has not slowed down, we are still working and fighting for freedom in Ukraine, the frontline is still 1000 km long, civilians are still being killed by r*ssia every day. We can only go so far to inform you. The rest is up to you. Up to date sources, @KyivIndependent @KyivPost @saintjavelin @U24_gov_ua Stay informed and inform others.

I thank @Keir_Starmer, @EmmanuelMacron, and @bundeskanzler Friedrich Merz for their support. We met in the important E3–Ukraine format. A substantive discussion focused on our defense. I informed them about the situation on the battlefield and Russia’s losses. For five consecutive months now, the aggressor has been losing more than 30,000 troops killed and wounded. It is important that our assessments align with those of our partners: Russia is not winning on the battlefield, and our mid-range strikes and deep strikes are significantly limiting its ability to expand its aggression. But it is also extremely important to have protection against ballistic threats, with which the Russians are terrorizing our cities and communities. We also discussed possible ways to reinvigorate diplomacy and Europe’s role in this process. For Ukraine, it has always been a priority that Europe’s position and voice in the negotiations be strong. I thank Britain, France, and Germany for their support and readiness to help. We agreed that our teams will work on the next steps.

Thank you to all journalists – Ukrainian and international – who tell the world about the Ukrainian people’s struggle and the crimes russia commits daily against civilians. 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼 Special thanks to the journalists working in the Sumy region. This year, dozens of representatives from Ukrainian and foreign media have visited our region to see firsthand how the border area lives under shelling, and how communities, businesses, and people persevere despite the constant danger. You often work in hazardous conditions, documenting the aftermath of enemy attacks and telling the stories of people living through this war. You stand alongside our defenders and civilians to ensure the truth about what is happening in Ukraine is heard worldwide. Thanks to your work, the Sumy region is known far beyond Ukraine. The world sees not only the enemy's crimes, but also the strength, resilience, and unity of our people. Thank you for your professionalism, responsibility, and dedication to your work. Your labor is incredibly valuable.🇺🇦

Open Letter To the President of the Russian Federation From the President of Ukraine When you came to power in Russia more than 26 years ago, many people in Ukraine viewed you positively. That is how it was. But that is now in the past. Now, the overwhelming majority of Ukrainians view it positively that our long-range drones paid a visit to the opening of your forum in St. Petersburg, covering a distance of more than 1,000 kilometers. As you know very well, that distance is not the limit of our capabilities.
