Gov. DeSantis would rather collaborate with foreign dictators while throwing due process out the window, than actually help Floridians. He wants you to foot the bill for his power grab while he breaks up our beautifully diverse communities. It’s shameful.
.@GovRonDeSantis wants federal 'greenlight' to 'run flights to El Salvador', as he's 'ready to do more' in illegal immigration flight. Reporting by @AGGancarski flapol.com/44Ou4GR #FlaPol

Thank you, New American Leaders Action Fund (@NALActionFund ) for your endorsement and for believing in the power of immigrant leadership. As a Dreamer who spent 15 years undocumented, I know firsthand what it means to fight for a place to belong. My journey, from arriving in this country as a teenager, to becoming a citizen, to now running for the Florida House, is proof that when New Americans are given the opportunity to lead, our communities are stronger because of it. I’m honored to stand alongside leaders who are breaking barriers, expanding representation, and building a democracy that reflects all of us. Together, we’re showing the next generation that their stories, their voices, and their dreams matter. Thank you for your trust and partnership. Let’s make history together. #NewAmericanLeaders #Dreamer #ImmigrantPower #RepresentationMatters

Today is extra special because we’re celebrating two of my favorite things: Luis’s birthday and six years of marriage. Six years ago, I married my best friend, my partner, and the person who has been my rock through every challenge and every victory. Luis, your love, patience, and unwavering support have made me a better person. You’ve stood beside me through long days, big dreams, and moments when the road ahead felt uncertain. Together, we’ve built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and more adventures than I could have imagined; including becoming proud dog dads to Papito and Cosito. There is no one I would rather share this life with. Here’s to celebrating you today, six wonderful years of marriage, and many more years of adventures with Papito, Cosito, and all the dreams still ahead of us. Te amo.

When I set out on the Trail of Dreams, I never imagined we were making history. I only knew that we had to fight for the dignity, humanity, and future of millions of immigrants like us. What began as a march fueled by hope and determination helped bring the DREAMer movement to the national stage. Together, we achieved what many said was impossible: we organized, we shared our stories, and we helped build the momentum that led President Barack Obama to create DACA, changing the lives of hundreds of thousands of young people. Standing in Chicago and seeing our march featured at the Barack Obama Presidential Center is deeply emotional. It is a reminder that ordinary people can do extraordinary things when they come together for justice. Sharing this moment with my dear friends Gaby Pacheco and Carlos Roa, who walked this journey alongside me, makes it even more meaningful. More than 16 years later, I am still fighting for change. I still believe in the power of grassroots movements. I still believe that courage can overcome fear, that hope can outlast hate, and that when people organize, they can change lives, and even make history. #TrailOfDreams #DACA #Dreamers #ObamaLibrary #ImmigrantStories

You’ll hear a lot of talk about “relief” from Republicans as we get closer to November, but don’t be fooled. Their scam is only going to hurt hard working Floridians while gutting critical services for working people like you and me.

“Felipe understands the importance of showing up, speaking out, and fighting for people who too often feel overlooked. He leads with compassion and authenticity alongside a true commitment to his community. I know how to break down barriers in Tallahassee, and I’m ready to see Felipe do the same thing at the Capitol.” - Representative Michele Rayner @micheleforfl

This campaign has been an incredible learning experience but an enjoyable one. Nothing is more amazing to me than having real conversations with residents of district 42 at their front door and hearing about how we can make real change in their lives in the Florida legislature. I’m incredibly humbled and honored that people continue to come out every week to support us and help talk to voters with us. This milestone is a testament to their hard work and our campaigns continued mission to speak with future constituents about the issues affecting them every day. Thank you to everyone who chipped in on this effort I cannot wait to hit our next milestone and talk to even more voters. If you’d like to join us in that effort, visit felipeforflorida.com

Every single thing our campaign has been able to accomplish is due entirely to the outpouring of grassroots support from across Orange County. I couldn’t be more thankful for everyone who is supporting our vision of a Florida where we all thrive together. Every dollar, door knock, or conversation that’s donated to our campaign is furthering our movement to deliver for Florida families and bring solutions to Tallahassee. Thank you for your support, we’re running full steam ahead towards victory in November!

As the first openly transgender person elected to a state senate in the United States and then to Congress, @SarahEMcBride is no stranger to making history. I’m honored to have her support and I’m excited to continue her mission of breaking down barriers when elected as the first Brazilian and first DREAMer to the Florida Legislature. History in the making!
