For instance, If you develop your app using the iOS design system, it becomes easier for developers and designers to adapt quickly to updates when the app is modified.

I don't believe that's true, as even top companies like Apple and Google utilize design systems, which serve as a strong foundation for their designs.
In my opinion, every UI/UX designer should learn how to effectively use design systems.
