“Mentally time travel” just means your brain can replay past experiences and simulate future ones. It is tied to episodic memory, the hippocampus, and memory replay during rest/sleep. Recent coverage is mostly about how replaying the original context of a memory can strengthen short-term recall, not literal time travel. The “rewriting your past” part means memories are reconstructed, not perfectly replayed like video. Every time you recall something, the brain can slightly update it with new emotions, context, or later knowledge. That is why memories can become stronger, distorted, or emotionally changed over time. Concrete example: you revise something you learned yesterday by mentally putting yourself back in the room — what you felt, what the teacher said, where it was on the page. Studies found this kind of contextual recall can improve memory over hours or a day, but the effect fades over longer periods unless repeated. The thing is - This is not supernatural. It is memory replay reconstruction. Useful for learning, trauma therapy, planning and decision-making — but also why eyewitness memory can be unreliable.

Answer: We are measuring segmented intervals based on the rotation of celestial bodies.
New: Joe Rogan leaves NASA astrophysicist Michelle Thaller completely stuck after asking her a deep question about the reality of time: ROGAN: “The weirdest thing that I’ve ever heard anybody say is that all time exists currently.” THALLER: “That’s Albert Einstein.” ROGAN: “When we measure time what exactly are we measuring? When we create a clock that runs 24 hours per day what is it measuring?” THALLER: “That’s a deep question. That question caused everything in physics to fall apart.” ROGAN: “I still don’t understand what we’re measuring.” THALLER: “I don’t think I have an answer for you. I don’t think anybody does.”

This is how the #Hentaivirus started
A strange moment from FanimeCon 2026 in San Jose is going viral online after people at an unofficial meetup called ParkCon sold cups of a red drink called “foot juice” for about $15 each. Cosplayers dipped their feet into the drink before handing it to buyers, while large crowds gathered around the area and long lines formed to buy it. FanimeCon organizers later confirmed that ParkCon is not part of the official convention and the activity happened outside official programming.

Elon Musk predicts that in the very near future, humans will have chips implanted directly into their brains, creating a brain-machine interface capable of giving people cybernetic superpowers. Musk says the technology could restore eyesight, allow paralyzed people to walk again, and even help the mute speak. He described the coming breakthrough as “Jesus-level technology.” “These are kind of Jesus-level things.”

Durante 20 años, un biólogo italiano estudió a personas que casi nunca enfermaban, todas compartían un hábito que en público parece una locura.👇

I'm calling it "Charlie's Tale" from now on.
In the official document which shows that the Greek state granted 6.5 million euros directly from citizens’ taxes as a subsidy to Chris Nolan’s production, we read that the film was originally titled "CHARLIE'S TALE" and not "ODYSSEY", a title it was later changed to. Additionally, the Greek Ministry of Culture classifies it as "Fiction". Chris Nolan can cast a black Helen and Athena, a Mexican Eumaeus, a transgender Achilles or Elpenor, a Batman-like Agamemnon, space marines as the Laestrygonians, or a black rapper as a Greek poet. He can base the script on the worst possible translation, one that distorts the entire meaning of the Homeric poems, and even replace Argos the dog with a cat. But it will never be the Odyssey. It will be "Charlie's Tale". Christopher Nolan disrespected the Greeks and we will never forget that.

When #TheBoys ends there will be a lot of differing opinions about where it sits in program history. No matter what anyone says, I will appreciate it for the little things like this.
