This poster is a must have for labs working on #MCS! A guide through the work of so many outstanding labs (apologies if we did not cite your work). Hang it in your office or lab, it will please your eyes and inspire your mind! Kudos to the driving force Antigoni Diokmetzidou! -LS
In their Cell Science at a Glance article, Antigoni Diokmetzidou & Luca Scorrano @LabScorrano summarise the mitochondrial contacts characterised in mammals, the mechanisms underlying their formation, and their principal functions. journals.biologists.com/jcs/… #JCSMitoSI #OpenAccess

The peer-reviewed version of our paper on human tRNA 3' processing is now published in @NatureSMB. Many thanks to the reviewers for their constructive comments! nature.com/articles/s41594-0… See also the very nice related work by @BMartinHallberg @no1gv: embopress.org/doi/full/10.10…
Happy to share a new preprint, in which we describe the mechanism of human tRNA 3' processing. We show why the RNase Z ELAC2 acts as a monomer in the nucleus, but forms a multi-subunit complex in mitochondria. Plase see 🧵 by @BhattaArjun2p for details! biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…

Out today! We find that an epigenetic modification (6mA) to the mitochondrial genome (mtDNA) influences lifespan and the heritability of mtDNA mutations to the next generation. It implies that epigenetics determines genetic composition in future offspring. cell.com/cell-metabolism/ful…
