This is probably a stupid (and expensive) idea but I’m such a fan of @SquareEnix that I want to attempt to beat every localized game that they’ve made. Luckily this one is fairly short, got my NES and CRT hooked up and ready to go. Here we go, first one the list…
Take a trip through the localized history of #SquareEnix in this video series on the King of RPGs. Who received this game with their Nintendo Power subscription? First released as Dragon Quest in 1986, Dragon Warrior was brought over to America in 1989.

Great interview with @_atrac17 on @timeextension64 about developing cores for FPGA. In the article, there's mention of a site with information about how to get started in core development. Is that site available? I'd love to try to get into core development.

It's fine, but the timelines are basically fan-fiction.

There we have it folks, a quote from Aonuma that says fans need to understand that Nintendo doesn't really care about Legend of Zelda timelines or lore. "Link goes on an adventure and experiences many things" Just enjoy the ride, there are no timelines gamesradar.com/games/the-leg…

Unfortunately, we're likely gonna have the same conversations again in a few months from now when Nintendo confirms the Switch 2 will start at $499 USD.

I'm firmly in the camp of no Zelda timelines exist. Nintendo just feeds the discourse because it's free marketing.

Should never run both cars at the same time. Connect negative to negative, then positive to positive, then choose 1 car to start. Running the donor will charge the dead. Then turn off the donor and start the dead, let it run for a few minutes, and then both off to remove wires.

Finished 1000xResist, I loved it. One of the best story games games I have played. Visually they do some cool and artful things, but the story is what really gets me. It is interesting, confusing, weird, unique, engaging and unexpected. More people need to play this.

Not an absolute, but based on recent events, a rule of thumb seems applicable If you read about video games, you're pronably an enthusiast. But if you watch your video game news and reviews, you're probably a casual fan Nothing wrong with being casual, clear where the money is

I've been getting really into the Final Fantasy Trading Card scene, but this screenshot from a FF card Discord kinda sums the general vibe right now lol. Gotta love the "Don't let the door hit your ass" comment lol

Hi everyone! I'm Nadia! I've been writing about games online since 2004 and I'm sick of seeing great game articles get memory-holed! So I'm pulling my old writing from what archives I can, cleaning it up, and putting it on my personal Patreon. $1 gets you full access⬇️⬇️⬇️

8. 1000xResist (Switch) Non-linear storytelling doesn't get much better. This post-apocalyptic tale delivers an emotional, thought provoking ride, touching on issues like diaspora and the cycle of abuse. Navigation could be a bit confusing, but it's a W regardless. Score: 9
